Minsitry of company affairs has launcehd its ambitious project MCA 21 on 18th March 2006 in New Delhi.

As per this project the companies can be incorporated online through the newly designed portal www.mca.gov.in. All the persons willing to become directors of new companies or to be appointed as directors in existing companies shall have to obtain a DIN (Director Identification Number) from the above said site of the department.

Further all the existing companies which are required to submit various returns and documents at the office of Registrar of Companies can now file them electronically at the website of the Ministry of Company Affairs. All the signatories who sign the documents have to obtain DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) to sign the documents digitally and file them online.
