GLOBAL MARKETS

US Markets

The US markets lost about 2 percent on Friday.

Dow Jones closed at 13113.38 down 249.97 points or 1.87 percent.
Nasdaq Composite closed at 2565.70 down 48.62 points or 1.86 percent.

Europian Markets

The Europian markets also lost more than 2 percent on Friday.

FTSE (UK) closed at 6191.20 down 122.10 points or 1.93%.
DAX (Germany) closed at 7436.63 down 185.09 points or 2.43%
CAC (France) closed at 5430.10 down 146.52 points or2.63%.

Asian Markets

The Asian markets also ended negative on Friday.

NIKKEI(JAPAN) closed at 16122.16 down 134.84 points.
HANG SENG (HONG KONG) closed at 23982.61 down 67.79 points.
KOSPI (SOUTH KOREA) closed at 1884.9 down 3.91 points.
STRAITS TIMES (SINGAPORE) closed at 3488.97 up 22.91 points.
Composite Index (CHINA) Closed at 5277.17 down 116.48 points.
SENSEX (INDIA) closed at 15590.42 down 25.89 points.
NIFTY (INDIA) closed at 4509.5 down 9.1 points.

Today’s Market outlook

The US markets closed about 2 percent down on the back of weak job data and the Asian markets have also opened in the red today. The NIFTY remained above 4500 levels on friday and today we expect a gap down opening and the NIFTy will find support near 4450 levels.
