Stock Market Tips for 13th November 2007

GLOBAL MARKETS

US Markets

The US markets closed negative on Citigroup’s reports that E Trade might go bankrupt. The E Trade stock was down 58 percent yesterday.

Dow Jones closed at 12987.55 down 55.19 points or 0.42 percent.
Nasdaq Composite closed at 2584.13 down 43.81 points or 1.67 percent.

Europian Markets

The Europian markets closed almost flat on Monday.

FTSE (UK) closed at 6337.90 up 33.00 points or 0.52%.
DAX (Germany) closed at 7806.84 down 5.56 points or 0.07%
CAC (France) closed at 5535.56 up 11.38 points or 0.21%.

Asian Markets

The Asian markets ended weak on Monday.

NIKKEI(JAPAN) closed at 15197.09 down 386.33 points.
HANG SENG (HONG KONG) closed at 27665.73 down 1117.7 points.
KOSPI (SOUTH KOREA) closed at 1923.42 down 67.05 points.
STRAITS TIMES (SINGAPORE) closed at 3511.12 down 88.55 points.
Composite Index (CHINA) Closed at 5187.735 down 127.81 points.
SENSEX (INDIA) closed at 18737.27 down 170.33 points.
NIFTY (INDIA) closed at 5617.1 down 46.15 points.

Today’s Market outlook

The US markets have closed in the red yesterday and the Asian markets have also opened weak today we expect a flat opening with a negative bias, 5500 will act as a strong support for NIFTY and Power stocks are looking good.
