US Markets

The US markets lost further ground and were down about 2 percent on Thursday.

Dow Jones closed at 12159.21 down 306.95 points or 2.46 percent.
Nasdaq Composite closed at 2346.90 down 47.69 points or 1.99 percent.

Europian Markets

The Europian markets also closed in the red on Thursday.
FTSE (UK) closed at 5902.40 down 40.50 points or 0.68%.
DAX (Germany) closed at 7413.53 down 58.04 points or 0.78%
CAC (France) closed at 5157.09 down 68.30 points or 1.31%.

Asian Markets

The Asian markets closed mixed on Thursday.

NIKKEI(JAPAN) closed at 13783.45 up 278.94 points.
HANG SENG (HONG KONG) closed at 25114.98 up 664.13 points.
KOSPI (SOUTH KOREA) closed at 1723.55 up 18.58 points.
Composite Index (CHINA) Closed at 5151.626 down 138.98 points.
SENSEX (INDIA) closed at 19700.82 down 167.29 points.
NIFTY (INDIA) closed at 5913.2 down 22.55 points.

Today’s Market outlook

Yesterday our markets made an attempt to pull back but were again sold off in the last half an hour of trade. The global cues are again negative today and we expect a gap down opening, however, further attempts of pull back may be seen during the day.
