HANG SENG (HONG KONG) closed at 20529.76 up 9.10 points.
KOSPI (SOUTH KOREA) closed at 1656.71 down 1.20 points.
STRAITS TIMES (SINGAPORE) closed at 3513.37 up 26.74 points.
SENSEX (INDIA) closed at 14397.89 up 59.44 points.
NIFTY (INDIA) closed at 4256.55 up 8.40 points.

The US markets were closed yesterday and Asian markets have opened almost flat. We are very near to the F&O settlement day and the markets are expected to remain volatile till thursday and thereafter they may settle down and find a direction.
