Stock Market Tips for 2nd April 2007

April 2nd, 2007 by Analyst

The RBI’s financial year end rate hike will give the markets another bout of selling. And the experts believe that RBI may increase the interest rates by another 25-50 basis points before the next quarter. With rising interest rates there would be tremoundous pressure on companies to sustain the kind of growth they have been exhibiting in past 8 - 10 quarters.

Banking, construction and real estate stocks would be under pressure and may witness huge sell off. The markets are expected to fall heavily early in the morning and there is less hope of any respite during the day. It seems to be a good day for short selling. Real estate, Auto, Banking and construction stocks could be good targets early in the morning.
