US Markets

The US markets lost more than 2 percent yesterday.

Dow Jones closed at 13181.91 down 281.42 points or 2.09 percent.
Nasdaq Composite closed at 2511.25 down 64.73 points or 2.51 percent .

Europian Markets

The Europian markets also lost more than 1 percent on friday.

FTSE (UK) closed at 6224.30 down 76.00 points or 1.21%. .
DAX (Germany) closed at 7435.67 down 98.46 points or 1.31%
CAC (France) closed at 5597.89 down 84.18 points or 1.48%.

Asian Markets

The Asian markets closed positive on Friday.

NIKKEI(JAPAN) closed at 16979.86 down 4.25 points.
HANG SENG (HONG KONG) closed at 22538.44 up 95.19 points.
KOSPI (SOUTH KOREA) closed at 1876.8 up 23.73 points.
STRAITS TIMES (SINGAPORE) closed at 3436.04 up 0.58 points.
Composite Index (CHINA) Closed at 4560.77 up 153.04 points.
SENSEX (INDIA) closed at 15138.4 up 152.7 points.
NIFTY (INDIA) closed at 4401.55 up 45.2 points.

Today’s Market outlook

Once again the US markets are down significantly and the Asian markets have also lost about 1 to 2 percent in the opening trade. We expect another gap down morning with NIFTY having support around 4300 levels. Real estate, Banking and Auto sectors are looking weak.
