GLOBAL MARKETS

US Markets

The US markets were down about 1 percent on Wednesday.

Dow Jones closed at 13305.47 down 143.39 points or 1.07 percent.
Nasdaq Composite closed at 2605.95 down 24.29 points or 0.92 percent.

Europian Markets

The Europian markets were also down more than 1.5 percent.

FTSE (UK) closed at 6270.70 down 106.10 points or 1.66%.
DAX (Germany) closed at 7588.03 down 133.74 points or 1.73%
CAC (France) closed at 5551.55 down 121.17 points or2.14%.

Asian Markets

The Asian markets closed mixed on Wednesday.

NIKKEI(JAPAN) closed at 16158 down 262.02 points.
HANG SENG (HONG KONG) closed at 24069.17 up 183.1 points.
KOSPI (SOUTH KOREA) closed at 1865.59 down 9.15 points.
STRAITS TIMES (SINGAPORE) closed at 3445.08 up 69.02 points.
Composite Index (CHINA) Closed at 5310.716 up 16.67 points.
SENSEX (INDIA) closed at 15446.15 down 19.25 points.
NIFTY (INDIA) closed at 4475.85 down 3.4 points.

Today’s Market outlook

The US and Europian markets closed weak yesterday and the Asian markets have also opened in the red today. We expect a flat opening in the morning wiht a negative bias, crucial support for NIFTY is placed at 4450.
