Vishal Retail saw more interest among investors as compared to DLF as the issue is oversubscribed 81 times. The issue closed yesterday and the final figures of oversubscription were as under.

QIB portion oversubscribed 54 times
HNI portion oversubscribed 370 times
Retail portion was oversubscribed 59 times
Total oversubscription stood at 81 times with total 3,14,019 applications.

Markets post handsome gains

The stock markets were positive since morning and they maintained their trend during the day. Not much volatility was seen and NIFTY after crossing 4150 levels remained above that and gained further strength (as indicated by us in the morning) in the last hour of trade to close at 4170 up 56.95 points and the Sensex closed at 14203.72 up 200.69 points. The advance decline ratio was also positive with 832 advancing stocks to 247 declining. Banking and real estate sectors made a comeback today lead by Unitech and Bank of India.
